Are Roller Doors the cheapest garage door?

Not always, it depends what size the opening is. The door’s material, opening mechanism, and other features are all variables.

Is one brand better than the other when choosing a garage door?

We are not tied to one particular brand, Ryan has particular brands that he likes to use depending on what you require and your set up. When he comes out to quote he will determine which brand will suit your set up best and quote you accordingly. If you would like a quote for a specific brand, please do let us know.

What do I need to take into consideration when planning my new garage/carport, to make sure that the type of door I want will fit?

Head and side room are the most important factors to consider when building a new garage or carport structure. Each type of door requires a different amount of head and side room and it is very important to consider this before you build the structure.

What do you mean by headroom and sideroom space for your garage door or carport?

Headroom is the space between the underside of the opening header and the ceiling. Side room is the space on the side of the opening where we install the tracks.

What is the standard size garage door?

All garage doors are made to measure, there are no “standard” size garage doors. As a guide, we often advise clients that in the new home market, garages are generally made at 2.1H x 2.4W for a single and 2.1H x 4.8W for a double, but with custom made, we can work with you and the space that you have.

 Can you build me a carport just like the ones on your website?

Unfortunately, not, as we are not builders. Once you get the plans for the carport from your builder, please do send them to us and we can advise if everything looks suitable to fit a garage door on.

I just bought a new car and now I can’t fit into my garage, can you make the opening bigger but still use the existing door? 

All doors are made to measure and to suit the specific opening that they are built for, so no, this is not possible.

Very impressed with the service right from the beginning. We came to look at the showroom and were pleased with what we saw and the help from the staff. We were impressed with how quickly after we ordered the doors were made and ready to be installed, and when there was a delay with the completion of our carport they were very understanding. And then when we were finally ready for installation it was super quick. The installer was excellent and explained things very clearly. Just wanted to say the guys did the job this morning but as a certified professional complainer I am deeply disappointed that I have no content to work with. The door looks great, it works unbelievably well, the blokes did a very tidy professional job at a very reasonable price and I can’t say I could be happier with the work. 3. The communication all in all is great, paid the deposit and they called me to confirm the installation day
